National Poetry Month

April is National Poetry Month! Some ideas to celebrate poets and poetry could be to memorize a poem, read a poem a day, or learn about a poet. For more ideas please check out poets.org. There are also several events in Manhattan. Let us know if you recommend a kid-friendly event in Queens!

If you open the PDF version of Maira Kalman’s poetry poster you’ll be linked to a different poem for each image.

Please also mark your calendars for our monthly Parents’ Association meeting on Wednesday, April 26th, and enjoy your Spring Break!
