Congratulations, 6th graders! We’re so proud of you! (And kudos to the parents, for we know behind every successful child, is a caring, and supportive adult cheering them on!)
REMINDER: The PA General Meeting will take place tomorrow at the Main Building Auditorium from 6:00-8:00pm. The Board will be wrapping up the order of business for the 2017/2018 school year.
We need your vote to approve funding for reading kits for our classes! We will also be thanking parents who have volunteered their time, skills and resources throughout this past year, and introducing our new Board.
Light refreshments will be served. Child care is available for school aged children.
The annual school performance, “The Little Mermaid, Jr.,” will be presented tonight, June 14th at 6:30pm in the Main Building auditorium.
Grade 6, under the directorship of Ms. Lisa Desantis, have created a show for the PS 99 community. Seating is first come, first served. The students have worked incredibly hard on putting on a spectacular performance, so please come and enjoy the show!

A big thank you to all who donated the wonderful food to yesterday’s Teacher Appreciation Brunch! Judging from the amount of muffins, casseroles, cakes, pastries, salads, quiches, meat pies, sushi, sweets and fruits delivered, the teachers at PS 99 are truly loved and appreciated! Thank you, parents!
Attention incoming Kindergarten Parents: There will be a parent orientation on Friday, June 8, from 9:15-10:15am at the Annex. This is a parent only orientation. The school asks that you not bring your child if it is possible.
The PS99 staff will be speaking about what to expect for the incoming kindergarten classes, and Parent Association representatives will be on hand to speak about the PA and PA-related activities.
The Annex is located at 82-34 Kew Gardens Road, half a block away from the Main Building.
Registration for the 2018/2019 PA Afterschool Program Session 1 will be open today, tomorrow, and Friday. To sign your child up for afterschool in the fall, please stop by the Main Building on June 5, 6, and 8 between 3:00-5:00pm. (There is no school on Thurssday, June 7.)
Staff/parent volleyball game tomorrow, (Wednesday, June 6) from 9am-12pm in the Main Building gym! Show up for a little sports fun and camaraderie! No need to RSVP, just show up!
