Jump into the first Parents’ Association meeting of the new school year, happening on Zoom. The link is posted on ClassDojo. See you there! Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional holiday that dates back over 3,000 years. Observed in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, Korea, Japan, Singapore and Malaysia, Mid-Autumn Festival celebrates good harvests and family reunions. Families observe by eating and gifting moon cakes and displaying lanterns at nighttime in celebration of the harvest moon. Happy Mid-Autumn Festival! Sukkot is a Jewish harvest festival that lasts for 7 days. It’s tradition to build, decorate and celebrate the holiday in an open-air structure with a leafy roof, as a reminder of our roots as farmers. Happy Sukkot to all who celebrate!
