Congratulations PS 99! State officials have recognized our school as one of the 277 New York City schools that are among the highest achieving in the state under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA)! The ESSA is a federal law that gives states more flexibility in determining how to better improve school performance by emphasizing student growth. This gives schools a more holistic approach to assessing, identifying, and incorporating approaches that boost performance. Well done, Principal Foglio, teachers, and students! What a way to end the year!
