PS 99 will be starting the upcoming school year with a new principal in place. Mr. Sforza is currently Interim Principal since Mrs. Foglio’s retirement in February. He is one of 11 candidates that are being considered for the permanent position by our district’s leadership.
There is a committee that has been formed to decide on selection criteria, and first round interview questions. Seven parent members of our School Leadership Team and PA Executive Board are part of the committee.
As PS 99 parents, you have a voice in determining who should be hired as principal. Currently, we are seeking your comments and opinions:
- What do you think are the most important qualities and skills our new principal should have?
- What questions would you want all the candidates to answer?
