Minutes

Let’s celebrate this wonderful Holiday Season together! Please join us in the ANNEX Multipurpose Room/Cafeteria for WinterFest – a celebration with food, photos, entertainment, raffles and lots of fun!

Grades K-2: Doors Will Open at 5:30 pm – Party Will End at 6:45 pm

Grades 3-6: Doors Will Open at 7:15 pm – Party Will End at 8:30 pm

There will be two parties to accommodate students and their families.  If you have children in multiple grades, choose one party time and attend as a family. Space is limited, so we ask that you please bring only your children who attend PS99.

Get your tickets ($3 each) in the Annex from December 7th and 8th (Thursday and Friday) from 7:50-9:00am! The tickets will be sold first come first served, on these dates only. Do not send money in children’s backpacks. Please note that tickets are reserved for current PS99 students and one adult per family.

We need your help!  If you would like to volunteer please fill out our online form at www.ps99parents.org/volunteer  and indicate which shift you’d like to volunteer for:

-Decorating – 3:30-5:00

-First Party – 5:30-6:45pm

-Second Party – 7:15-8:30pm

-Clean Up Crew – 8:30-9:00pm

Through our sponsorship of additional events, activities, learning programs and classroom items, the PS99 Parents’ Association aims to encourage our children’s love of learning and foster a sense of community among our families. We hope that you’ll join us!

YOUR HELP MAKES IT HAPPEN. Become a contributing member of the PS99 Parents’ Association. While there is no cost to join, your voluntary financial contribution to the Parents’ Association School Fund makes our sponsorship of these activities possible.

The suggested donation is $30.00 per family, and if you’re able, we hope you will donate more – but every donation makes a difference regardless of the dollar amount!

YOUR DOLLARS AT WORK. All donations support goods and services for our children. Here are just a few of the items your support has funded:

• Dyslexia Awareness Training
• Literacy Benchmarking Tool Kits
• Hydroponic Gardening Kits for our Second Graders
• Our Phone Messaging System
• A New Digital Clock for the Annex Gym
• Play Puppet Theatre for our Kindergartners
• Athletic Jerseys for the Basketball Team
• Events including the Holiday Party, World Fest and the Teacher Appreciation Brunch
• And much more…

We thank you for your support. Please complete this form and submit it along with your donation before November 16. You may also bring your donation to next week’s Parent Teacher conferences.

Our fundraiser with Fun Pasta Fundraising continues through November 15! Help the Parents’ Association raise money for events and programs that we sponsor for our students by selling to your family and friends.

Remember, our goal is for each participant is to sell at least 10 bags and the class with the highest sales will be rewarded with a pizza party! The pasta selection is affordable and selling is fun and simple.  And best of all, our school can earn up to 50% profit!

What is Fun Pasta?
Fun Pasta is pasta shaped like holiday items, sports equipment, collegiate team logos, and more.  The colorful brochure features a wide variety of shapes that will appeal to everyone!

How can you help?
SHARE our Fun Pasta Brochure with neighbors, friends, and co-workers!
Every sale helps support our school and gets us closer to our goal.  The products are healthy, fun, and affordable – and they make great gifts, too!

SHARE our Webpage Link on Facebook, Twitter, and Email!
Share our link,  www.funpastafundraising.com/shop/ps-99-Parent-association, with your out-of-town relatives and friends. When they order directly from the company, WE GET THE CREDIT!  40% of these sales go directly to us! (excludes shipping cost).   There is a flat rate shipping charge of $6.95, but they ship within a couple of days, and our relatives can easily support our group!
